The Ice Queen Archetype: How It Impacts Your Business & Client Engagement

by | Feb 28, 2025

I want to introduce you to an energetic archetype that isn’t often spoken about—the Ice Queen. This archetype plays a major role in business, in client engagement, and in your ability to create magnetic success. It can be a gift, but also a curse. If you want to increase your client engagement, build deeper trust, and truly connect with your audience, you must work with your Ice Queen.

Are You Struggling to Engage Clients?

You want your clients to engage with you. You want them to comment, reply to emails, interact with your posts, and show up as a buzzing community of aligned, excited souls ready to invest in your services.

But it’s not happening.

You could Google strategies on how to boost client engagement and get plenty of surface-level advice. Or, you could go to the energetic core of the issue. Because at its root, engagement isn’t just about marketing—it’s about your energy. And this is where the Ice Queen comes in.

What Is the Ice Queen Archetype?

If you’ve been in my world for a while, you’ve likely heard me speak about the Queen archetype—the woman who stands fully in her value. She has powerful self-awareness, well-defined boundaries, and draws her worth from within rather than seeking external validation.

But there’s a shadow side to the Queen. That is the Ice Queen.

When we unconsciously step into the Ice Queen archetype, we start building emotional walls around us. Instead of connecting heart-to-heart, we close ourselves off.

The Queen has an open heart and easily attracts clients and opportunities. The Ice Queen has an armored heart, making true engagement difficult.

The Ice Queen often emerges from deep-rooted wounds—unresolved childhood trauma, past betrayals, or experiences that made us feel vulnerable and unsafe. Instead of facing this pain, we build emotional ice around us to protect ourselves.

How Does the Ice Queen Show Up in Your Business?

If you’ve unknowingly stepped into the Ice Queen archetype, you might notice some of these patterns:

Over-concern with reputation – You are hyper-aware of how others perceive you and fear anything that could “damage” your public image.

Superiority complex – You unconsciously place yourself above others, believing you are more advanced, more evolved, or more knowledgeable than your clients or peers.

Lack of trust – You struggle to trust your team, your clients, or even your mentors, believing that only you truly know the best way.

Struggles with feedback – You reject criticism or differing perspectives rather than seeing them as opportunities for growth.

Possessiveness over your work – You hold onto your methodologies and teachings with a tight grip, fearing they will be taken, misused, or undervalued.

Competition mindset – You worry about others “stealing” your clients or ideas rather than trusting in the unique space you hold.

Can you recognise yourself in any of these?

One of the biggest reasons spiritual entrepreneurs struggle with client engagement isn’t because of a lack of strategy—it’s because they are unknowingly operating from the Ice Queen archetype.

💡 When your heart is open, clients feel you. They resonate with your energy. They engage, connect, and invest.

💡 When your heart is armored, they sense the distance. No matter how good your content is, the connection isn’t fully there.

How to Alchemize the Ice Queen & Open Your Heart?

Shifting out of the Ice Queen archetype requires deep honesty and a willingness to embrace vulnerability.

Here’s where to start:

🔥 Step 1: Acknowledge the Ice

  • Be honest with yourself: Where have you built emotional walls? Where are you resisting connection?

🔥 Step 2: Identify What You Reject in Others

  • What types of people trigger you? Those who seem weak? Those who ask for help? Those who don’t meet your “standards”? What you reject in others often reflects what you reject in yourself.

🔥 Step 3: Lean into Genuine Vulnerability

  • True vulnerability isn’t about performing openness—it’s about allowing yourself to be seen, even when it’s uncomfortable. This is what creates deep, authentic client engagement.

🔥 Step 4: Trust More

  • Trust your team. Trust your audience. Trust your clients. Extend trust without fear—this will completely shift how people engage with you.

🔥 Step 5: Release Control

  • The Ice Queen wants to control outcomes, reputation, and client behavior. The Queen surrenders and magnetizes. Which one are you embodying?

Your Next-Level Expansion Awaits

The more you alchemize the Ice Queen into the true, open-hearted Queen, the more effortlessly clients will engage, respond, and invest. Because at the highest level, selling is not about tactics—it’s about energetic alignment.

So tell me in the comments: Where have you noticed the Ice Queen showing up in your business? And more importantly, what’s one action you’re taking today to melt the ice and open your heart?
