Here's the Truth I Never Thought I’d Share...
There is a dangerous myth in the entrepreneurial world.
That once you “make it”… once you hit seven figures… once you become the leader everyone looks up to… you’ll finally be free of your insecurities.
No more doubt.
No more vulnerability.
No more edges.
That’s not how power works.
The truth? Your so-called weaknesses don’t disappear at higher levels. They deepen.
And if you learn how to work with them instead of against them, they become your greatest accelerators.
Here are five vulnerabilities that still live in me. And how they became sacred doorways to more power, not less.
Five Vulnerabilities That Became Sources of Power
1. Not Enoughness
Yes. Even now.
The voice that whispers: Who do you think you are? What if you’re not enough? What if this isn’t good enough?
For years, I thought this voice was proof of inadequacy.
Now I recognise it as a sign of expansion.
It shows up before breakthroughs. Before visibility leaps. Before scaling into new territory.
Not enoughness is often threshold energy.
When I feel it, I don’t try to eliminate it. I meet it with self-parenting.
Instead of: “How stupid am I?”
I choose: “I forgive myself for forgetting my magnificence.”
That shift alone has changed everything.
Because the leader who can love herself in vulnerability becomes unshakeable.
2. Perfectionism
I used to be a chronic perfectionist.
If it wasn’t pristine, I wouldn’t publish it. If it wasn’t extraordinary, I wouldn’t share it.
Perfectionism slowed my creative flow more than failure ever did.
So I made a radical decision:
Even my 70% is someone’s breakthrough.
I gave myself permission to write “imperfect” blogs. To record “imperfect” videos. To launch before I felt fully ready.
Perfectionism isn’t about excellence. It’s fear wearing a crown.
Now I move when the energy is alive, not when it is polished.
And ironically? The impact grew exponentially.
3. “I Hold It All”
This one runs deep for leaders.
I am a powerful holder. I hold clients. I hold vision. I hold family. I hold responsibility.
But being attached to the identity of “I must hold it all” creates overwhelm.
It creates isolation. And it blocks receiving.
So I practice something radical: I allow myself to be held.
When I receive support, when I ask for help, when I soften into being supported, I expand the field of receiving for everyone around me.
Leaders who never receive unconsciously teach others not to receive either.
That is not power.
True leadership is knowing when to hold and when to be held.
4. Overgiving
If left unchecked, I can overgive.
Serve from exhaustion. Say yes when I should say no. Descend from the mountain to push clients uphill.
And here’s what I learned:
When I overgive, I am not serving from power. I am serving from distortion.
So I use one simple internal check:
Am I on the mountain shining light? Or am I pushing people up the mountain for them?
I am not my clients’ source. I am their spark.
That reminder recalibrates everything.
Overgiving shrinks leaders. Boundaries expand them.
5. Obsession & Impatience
When I decide something, I go all in.
I research it. I study it. I immerse in it.
That intensity used to feel dangerous.
But obsession is not weakness. It is concentrated energy.
The key is direction.
If obsession is aimed at one single dimension of life, everything else suffers.
So I made a conscious decision: I create multidimensional devotion.
Business.
Health.
Creativity.
Personal projects.
Growth.
The energy flows in multiple channels.
As for impatience?
When expansion is happening internally faster than the 3D world can reorganize, impatience appears.
In those moments, I remind myself:
The oak tree does not rush. It expands because it is meant to.
Divine growth cannot be forced - only embodied.
Your “Weaknesses” Are Not the Problem
They are not proof you’re behind.
They are not signs you are unworthy.
They are raw power without direction.
If you bring awareness to them, if you love them instead of suppressing them, if you transmute them instead of judging them, they will become fuel.
The world doesn’t need perfected leaders. It needs self-aware ones.
