The Only Type of Energy Work That Really Works

To unlock the next level of impact, income and happiness, we can do all the energy work in the world but if we don’t also take aligned action, then it’s meaningless. 

Aligned action is about finding balance between receiving and doing. 

  • You can visualise and open to receive all you like – but if you don’t take action to demonstrate the change you want to see, then the energy work itself is incomplete. 
  • Equally, if you’re over-involved in action and are pushing yourself too hard – but not investing in the energetic side of your business, then this too creates an imbalance. 
Simply put: To unlock our full potential, we must hold the energy of our vision, then take aligned action to make it happen.

Here’s how!

4 Steps To Take Aligned Action For Success

Step 1: Recognise

First and foremost, we need to recognise what kind of belief we're holding onto that prevents us from getting results. 
Let’s say you’ve been doing a manifestation meditation every morning to bring more money into your business. 
You do it every single day, but you’re not seeing results. 

You might start to feel an emotion related to this, for example, frustration or hopelessness. 

Recognise this pattern! Recognise that, yes you are doing the energy work but you are not taking any other aligned action! 

Notice what belief is present that prevents you from taking action to get to where you want to be. 

Journal prompt: 

What do you say to yourself that keeps you stuck? 

Allow all your limiting beliefs, fears and doubts to come out onto the page and be seen. Limiting beliefs could be: 

  • It’s hard to make sales
  • It’s hard to make money
  • I can’t charge that much
  • Nobody will pay me
Whatever it is, recognise what the limiting beliefs you need to resolve in order to move forward.
 

Step 2: Acknowledge 

The second step is to acknowledge that the limiting belief you recognised is just a part of you, it is not who you are. Whatever type of belief you identified, whether it was “I’m not good enough” or “It’s too hard” or whatever else, you must dissociate from that belief. 

Belief is nothing more than a rehearsed thought pattern. 
The thought pattern is nothing more than energy. 
Energy is constantly changing.
Your beliefs are not WHO you are and are not indicative of truth.

Acknowledge the fact that you are not your thoughts, you are not your beliefs. When we associate with our limiting beliefs as though they are true, they have power over us and affect our behaviour, actions and what results we see or don’t see.

Darling, you are so much more than your limiting beliefs.

Step 3: Reframe and Reassure

These patterns of limiting beliefs are from the ego so we want to reframe the belief and reassure the ego. This dissolves the power of the belief and taps into the power of your Higher Self who can reassure the ego as though parenting a hurt child. 

You have recognised your belief, you have acknowledged it’s not who you are and now you want to reframe that belief and reassure the part of you that had the belief in the first place. 

Journal prompt:
  • The reasons why this limiting belief isn’t true are...
  • This is your Higher Self and I am here to reassure you that...

Step 4: Embody

This process ends as any effective energy technique should: by embodying the change. 

Embodying new beliefs is a process whereby the old belief of “I’m not good enough” becomes “I am good enough, I am MORE than good enough!” 

Demonstrate this is true by taking action from this embodied place of self-leadership and empowered decision making. 

Journal prompt: 

  • What would I do if I were already good enough? 
Growth usually isn’t comfortable and alignment might not feel easy!

We often trip up over this last step and don’t take aligned action to finish the process because we get mixed up about what alignment means.

We sometimes expect that alignment should be hunky-dory, easy-peasy or super flowy. But actually change - and therefore growth - by definition is outside of our comfort zone because it is outside of our normal habits.

To me, aligned action is not the action that necessarily feels amazing. It’s the action that is in complete alignment with who we want to become, with the highest version of ourselves and the success that we want to be experiencing. 

When you can embody that future version of you – well, that’s when the magic happens.
